My Story
Art has always been part of my life, but many of the paintings you see here began as quiet whispers from God during worship, prayer, and the ordinary moments of everyday life. What started as simple ideas grew into a collection of artwork that reflects hope, redemption, wonder, and the beauty of God's presence.
Whispers of Wonder was created to share those moments with others. My prayer is that each piece invites you to slow down, rediscover wonder, and be reminded that even in life's ordinary moments, God is still speaking.

There was a time in my life when I struggled to believe I had value or purpose. Growing up in a difficult environment left wounds that I carried for many years. But God met me in those broken places with grace, healing, and a love that slowly transformed my heart.
Through His faithfulness, I discovered that beauty can grow from ashes and that our stories are never beyond redemption. The hope I paint today isn't something I've imagined—it's something I've experienced.
Every painting is created with the prayer that someone who feels weary, unseen, or searching would be reminded that they are deeply loved and that hope is never out of reach.
My Journey
My Creative Process

Every painting begins long before the first brushstroke. Inspiration often comes during worship, prayer, time in Scripture, or the quiet moments of everyday life. I keep the notes section in my phone nearby to capture ideas as they come, allowing each piece to unfold over time.
From there, each painting is thoughtfully created with prayer, intention, and a heart to encourage others. My hope is that every finished piece tells a story, sparks wonder, and gently points hearts toward hope.

Life Beyond the Easel
When I'm not painting, you'll usually find me with a good fantasy book, exploring nature, crafting or experimenting with new mediums, or spending time with my husband and our furry studio supervisors. I find inspiration in nature, forests, fairy tales, and the quiet beauty woven throughout God's creation.
These simple joys often find their way into my artwork, reminding me that wonder is all around us if we slow down long enough to notice.

Meet the Studio Supervisors

Every creative studio has its own team. Mine just happens to be covered in fur.
Whether they're supervising brushstrokes, testing the comfort of every chair, chasing imaginary dragons, or reminding me it's time for a snack break, these sweet companions bring joy to the studio every single day. They've each left little paw prints on both my heart and my artwork.
This image was created in ChatGPT using actual photos of my babies, so it's not 100% accurate, but all of those who know cats know you can't get them to cooperate for a photo like this!
Supervisors from top left to bottom right:
Pixie: Curiosity Coordinator
Quiet, gentle, and endlessly curious. Pixie is happiest discovering new corners of the house and keeping a close eye on every creative project. She's also the peacemaker of the bunch.
Frankie: Head of Studio Security
Frankie firmly believes protecting the studio is a full-time job. Mail carriers, delivery trucks, blowing leaves... nothing escapes his watchful eye. Once he decides you're part of the family, though, you've gained a fiercely loyal little guardian.
Simba: Forever Honorary Supervisor
Though Simba now watches over the studio from Heaven, he'll always be part of this family. His gentle spirit continues to inspire my artwork and reminds me that love leaves paw prints that never fade.
Belle: Porch Patrol
Belle prefers the peace and quiet of the front porch, where she keeps a watchful eye on the neighborhood. She's wonderfully independent, a little temperamental, and has perfected the art of giving disapproving looks.
Esperanza "Cookie": Studio Encouragement Officer
Cookie wandered into our lives unexpectedly and quickly made herself at home—and into our hearts. She's a professional cuddler and believes every art session should include plenty of affection.
Iggy: Director of Cuddles
Bottle-fed from just a few days old, Iggy has been by my side for over a decade. If I'm sitting down, she assumes she's been invited onto my lap.
Ninja: Outdoor Patrol
Every studio needs someone to keep watch outdoors, and Ninja takes her job seriously. Between her daily patrols, she enjoys head scratches, affectionate rubs, and reminding everyone that love sometimes comes with tiny love bites.
