Battle Cry

One Sunday morning, my friend Jessica received a vision from the Holy Spirit. As she shared what she had seen, God gave me the inspiration to bring that vision to life through this painting.

In the vision, we stood before a demonic army, but it was as though tape had been taped over our mouths. We could not speak.

The Lord revealed that we needed to repent for remaining silent.

We had allowed intimidation and fear to convince us that we didn't know what to say. But the message was clear: now is the hour to open our mouths.

We must ask Him to fill our mouths with His words and give us the courage to speak.

We have been silent for far too long.

The church–the body of Christ–has not stood her ground and proclaimed the goodness of the Lord in the earth as we were called to do.

Battle Cry is a call to awaken, to find our voice, and to stand firmly in what God has given us to proclaim. It is a reminder that we were never called to remain silent in the face of darkness.

Now is the time to speak.
